PPE production, charity efforts and keeping the power flowing - check in with how the Glasgow Warriors family of Sponsors and Partners have been Playing Their Part in recent weeks.

SP Energy Networks

The dedicated team at SP Energy Networks remain in place to assist with any queries you may have during this period; engineers are also still out and about across Scotland and the UK, carrying out essential work to keep the power flowing to over 3.5 million customers.

Macron

Official Kit Supplier Macron have been doing their bit to support frontline workers, converting its entire operational and logistical network to the manufacturing of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers and law enforcement officers.

The sportswear firm has also made a donation of โ‚ฌ100,000 to the Santโ€™Orsola Polyclinic Hospital in Bologna, near to Macron's distribution centre.

McCrea Financial Services

Long-serving club sponsor McCrea Financial Services have teamed up with Glasgow Warriors to launch the Warrior of the Month campaign for April, which aims to recognise individuals going above and beyond to help and inspire their community.

Two members of the McCrea team are also pushing themselves to their physical limits in a brace of gruelling challenges; Jonathan Campbell, director at McCrea Financial Services, is participating in a 'Garage IronMan', whilst Elaine Hamilton will be taking on a virtual Etape Caledonia for charity.

KubeNet

Official club sponsor KubeNet have been helping businesses remain cyber-secure during the ongoing COVID-19 situation, with the Glasgow-based company providing expert insight through their blog posts.

First Bus

First Bus have been helping out with the country's home-schooling efforts in recent weeks, launching their Kids Education Pack for those looking to keep children occupied at home.

University of Strathclyde

Strathclyde Sport have been celebrating one of their own in recent weeks, with staff member Heather volunteering at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and joining the city's front-line healthcare workers in the ongoing battle against COVID-19.

A brace of fellow staff members have also been doing their bit for charity, leading a virtual run with sports centre members in support of Cahonas Scotland.

Investec

Finally, official club partner Investec have been keeping stakeholders updated on their response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in recent weeks, publishing a detailed outline on their website.

Investec are focusing on four strands โ€“ food security, healthcare, education and economic continuity โ€“ as they continue to do their bit across the UK and beyond.
