Land Rover delivers surprise of a lifetime to loyal supporter

A Glasgow Warriors supporter was given the surprise of his life when Scotland and British and Irish Lions legend Gavin Hastings arrived at his home, arranged by Glasgow Warriors’ Official Vehicle Partner, Land Rover.

Eric Graham has been a long-term Glasgow Warriors fan and was rewarded for his passion and commitment to his club with a surprise pick-up and chauffeured drive by Hastings from his home to watch the Warriors play.

The journey sees Hastings discuss Graham’s love for the Warriors, his history of playing for Hyndland RFC at Scotstoun and captaining his side.

On arrival at Scotstoun, the 59 year-old was provided with a behind the scenes tour of Scotstoun by Hastings’ son and Glasgow stand-off, Adam, before being presented with a signed Glasgow Warriors shirt by Head Coach Dave Rennie.

Graham, from Erskine, Renfrewshire commented:

“I was totally taken aback when Gavin Hastings walked through the door of my house. To have a legend like him in my living room, and then drive me to the match while we reminisced about great rugby memories is something I will never forget.

“It was such a special day and I was absolutely honoured to be given the experience.”
