Glasgow Warriors to compete in Heineken Champions Cup

Glasgow Warriors will be one of the United Rugby Championship's eight representatives in the 2021/22 Heineken Champions Cup, following this afternoon's confirmation of the tournament format.

Qualification was determined by the 2020/21 Guinness PRO14 regular season, meaning Glasgow qualify as one of the top eight teams in the competition.

The 2021/22 Heineken Champions Cup will kick-off in December and be played over nine weekends, with the Final set to be played in Marseille in May 2022.

24 clubs – eight representatives from each of the Gallagher Premiership, TOP 14 and Guinness PRO14 - will compete in the 2021/22 tournament, with all qualified clubs and their rankings will be officially confirmed once this season’s domestic competitions are concluded.
