Glasgow schoolgirl enjoys trip of a lifetime
An eight-year-old girl from Glasgow won the trip of a rugby lifetime courtesy of Land Rover, Official Worldwide Partner of Rugby World Cup 2019.
Beth Strachan, from Langside Primary School, ran alongside Gregor Townsend’s side as the official Land Rover Mascot at the International Stadium Yokohama.
All Glasgow Warriors' 2019/20 Season Ticket and Warrior Nation Members were entered into the competition.
Glasgow players Rory Hughes and D’arcy Rae were on hand to surprise her at the school, turning up to announce the news in front of a packed school assembly.
Beth was accompanied by her family to Japan, where they enjoyed a four-night stay in a four-star hotel before cheering on Scotland in their match against Japan yesterday.
