Tevita Tameilau to play first game since arriving in Scotland
Warriors fans can get their first glimpse of new signing Tevita Tameilau this weekend as the USA international runs out for Currie Chieftans against Glasgow Hawks in the Tennant’s Premiership.
The Chieftans will have two Eagles in their ranks with Greg Peterson also released to play at Malleny Park and Partnership player Thomas Gordon will also be inovled.
They will come up against Warriors teammates Bruce Flockhart, Matt Smith and Lelia Masaga who will all be looking to build on the Hawks’ victory over Hawick last weekend.
Jamie Bhatti will scrum down against former club Melrose in the top of the table clash at Milbrae.
Bhatti is one of two Scotland Internationals involved for the pink and black with Rory Hughes also involved. Paddy Kelly and Robbie Nairn make it four Warriors playing for the home side.
Stirling County welcome Heriot’s to Bridgehaugh and will be boosted by the inclusion of Kevin Bryce and Ratu Tagive.
Elsewhere, Edinburgh Accies host Boroughmuir and Hawick travel to Watsonians.
