Walter Fifita linked up with Glasgow Warriors in October 2021, having caught the eye of the club's coaching team in provincial rugby in New Zealand.
The Tongan international made the switch to Scotstoun following two seasons in the Bunnings NPC, where he represented North Harbour.
He made his Glasgow Warriors debut in January 2022, coming off the bench against the Ospreys at Scotstoun in the United Rugby Championship.
Fifita showcased his try-scoring prowess in a productive 2018/19 campaign, crossing for 13 tries in 16 appearances for El Salvador as he helped the Spaniards to claim the División de Honor title – the top tier of Spanish rugby.
The winger made his debut for the Ikale Tahi in the summer of 2021, coming off the bench against New Zealand in Auckland.
He is the first Tongan back to represent Glasgow Warriors, following in the footsteps of props Ofa Fainga'anuku, Sila Puafisi and Siua Halanukonuka, as well as back-rower Fotu Lokotui.
