Ratu Tagive made his debut for Glasgow Warriors against Ospreys in February 2017, having played in the Shute Shield club rugby competition for Eastern Suburbs.
He scored a try on his home debut for the Warriors, collecting a cross-field kick to touch down against the Dragons in March 2017.
Born in Sydney, Tagive's pace and power earned him a first European start against Sale Sharks in November 2019, helping the Warriors to a 13-7 win at Scotstoun.
The winger had previously spent time with the ACT Brumbies and gained invaluable experience as part of their Super Rugby squad. His roots are in Rugby League having spent time at NRL teams the Bulldogs and West Tigers.
He then moved to Canberra to study a bachelor of psychology with a major in nutrition at the University of Canberra where he took up 15-a-side rugby and quickly got recognised by local clubs and then the Brumbies. He then went on to train with the Australia 7s squad.
Standing at 6ft 3in and weighing in at over 100kg, the winger used his size and pace to score seven tries in ten appearances for Eastern Suburbs in the 2015/16.
Tagive - who qualifies for Scotland on residency - received a first Scotland call-up ahead of the 2020 Guinness Six Nations, having impressed the coaching staff with his form in Glasgow colours.
