Ollie Smith joined Glasgow Warriors as a Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy Stage 3 player ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The Scotland U20 star made his Glasgow Warriors debut against Edinburgh in January 2021, coming off the bench in a 23-22 victory at Scotstoun.
He then made his first start for the club away to Leinster just a month later, having agreed terms on his first professional contract with the Warriors in the same week.
Smith's first two tries in Glasgow colours came on his European debut, crossing for a brace in a six-minute cameo against La Rochelle at Scotstoun in January 2022.
Comfortable in midfield, Smith is also capable of playing across the back three, having turned out for Tennant's Premiership side Ayr across the back division.
He has also represented Scotland at U18 level, scoring a try in their narrow 32-30 defeat to Wales in 2018
