Murray McCallum joined Glasgow Warriors on a short-term deal in July 2021, adding to the club's strength in depth in the front row.

He made his professional debut for Edinburgh in October 2016 coming off the bench in a victory over Benetton, before going on to make 63 appearances for the men from BT Murrayfield.

Comfortable on either side of the front-row, McCallum's dynamism with ball in hand makes him a powerful carrying option around the field.

The former Dunfermline RFC man was part of a talented Scotland U20 squad that competed at the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championship, lining up alongside Glasgow club-mates Zander Fagerson, Scott Cummings and Ally Miller.

He made his senior Scotland debut against Wales in the opening match of the 2018 Six Nations, winning two further caps against Canada and the USA on the summer tour of the same year.

A product of the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy, McCallum also holds a UKCC Level Two Coaching certificate for rugby.
