Jordan Lenac was initially drafted into the Glasgow Warriors squad as scrum-half cover in January 2021.

He made his Glasgow Warriors debut in the final match of the 2020/21 Guinness PRO14 season, coming off the bench in a 46-25 win over Benetton at Scotstoun.

A former Australia Schoolboys international, the Brisbane-born number nine arrived in Scotland in 2020 with a view to playing with FOSROC Super6 outfit Ayrshire Bulls.

He showcased his skills in a training match with Edinburgh at Scotstoun, crossing for one of three Glasgow tries on the afternoon.

Lenac's great-grandfather, Tom Helm, was a member of the first Great Britain rugby league tour to Australia in 1910, having previously represented South of Scotland and Hawick in rugby union.
