Scotland hooker Ewan Ashman made the switch to Scotstoun in November 2021, joining on a season-long loan from Sale Sharks.
Born in Toronto, Ashman qualifies for Scotland through his Edinburgh-born father, representing his country at U16, U18 and U20 level prior to his senior bow.
The hooker possesses an eye for the try-line, touching down 11 times in his 15 appearances for the U20s and finishing as joint top try-scorer at the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina.
He then transferred his try-scoring prowess to the senior international stage, marking his Scotland debut with a sensational finish against Australia at BT Murrayfield in November 2021.
Ashman was already familiar with a number of his fellow Warriors prior to arriving at Scotstoun, having turned out alongside Ross Thompson, Rufus McLean and Rory Darge at U20 level.
