Connor de Bruyn linked up with the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy in December 2020.
The former Kearnsey College student caught the eye as a 7s player during his time at the Durban school, earning a call-up for the South Africa U18 7s squad.
Capable of playing in either the 12 or 13 jerseys, de Bruyn is Scottish-qualified and is a dynamic ball-carrying presence in the midfield.
