Adam Nicol signed his first professional contract with the Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2018/19 season.
A product of the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy, Nicol initially caught the eye with a series of impressive performances for Stirling County in the Tennant's Premiership, before being invited to train with the Warriors. He helped the club to a first-ever national cup final appearance in April 2018, playing in the BT Cup final defeat to Melrose at BT Murrayfield.
The former Fife front-rower made his debut for the club against the Ospreys in November 2016, coming off the bench for D’arcy Rae.
Nicol won his first cap for Scotland U20s in the 24-6 victory over England in the 2016 Six Nations, going on to be named in the squad for the 2017 World Rugby U20s Championship.
The tighthead made his European debut for the club in January 2020, coming off the bench in a 45-7 triumph against Sale Sharks in the Heineken Champions Cup.
