A message from Managing Director, Al Kellock (13 April, 2021)
I hope that you’re well and continuing to stay healthy and upbeat as we continue to navigate what is still an unusual and challenging period. While we might still be apart for the time being, we remain connected by our passion for this club and I speak for everyone at Glasgow Warriors when I say that this club wouldn’t be as special as it is without you and the entire Warrior Nation.
I wanted to take some time to write to you now that I am in post and ahead of our opening Rainbow Cup fixtures and provide you with an update on what’s happening in and around Scotstoun.
My sincere thanks go to Nathan Bombrys for everything that he did for the club during his time as Managing Director. I’m grateful to Nathan for providing me with such a solid platform on which to build – this is a club and a city that I have an immense deal of pride to represent, and I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to help this club continue on the journey to be amongst Europe’s elite.
On the field, our players are continuing to lead by example when it comes to adhering to government COVID-19 guidance. They have been exceptional in diligently working within the protocols set by Scottish Rugby, and I must commend everyone – from players and coaches to backroom and front-office staff – for continuing to do their bit to help us return to normality as fast and as safely as possible.
The upcoming Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup is an exciting opportunity for the club to test itself not only against clubs with whom we’re familiar, but also the crème de la crème of South African rugby. Danny and his coaching team have a near-full squad from which to select, with our international stars returning and many of our young talents fit and ready to go having had impressive performances in recent weeks. It promises to be a unique opportunity for this team.
Whilst the Rainbow Cup is at the forefront of our attentions, it’s hard not to look ahead to next season and get excited about what lies in store for Glasgow Warriors. I truly believe that we are building a squad capable of competing with the best in Europe, with signings the calibre of Josh McKay, Jack Dempsey and Domingo Miotti only serving to underline our intent to return to the upper echelons of both the Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup. Scottish internationals Duncan Weir, Jamie Bhatti and Simon Berghan only further highlight the strength in depth that we’ll have at our disposal next season, whilst retaining players like George Horne, Scott Cummings and Sam Johnson – not to mention young talents like Ross Thompson, Ollie Smith and Rufus McLean – mean that it’s an incredibly exciting time to be a Glasgow Warriors supporter.
As we look ahead to the future, there is also plenty to be positive about on a wider scale. In the coming year we will begin to see the fruits of CVC’s investment into PRO14 Rugby as a whole, and we can take a lot of pride from competing in a competition with ambitions to further rugby’s global appeal.
Off the field, too, planning is already underway for the 2021/22 campaign. We’re currently in consultation with both internal and external parties as to our Season Ticket and Warrior Nation offerings for the new season. Information relating to these packages will be communicated to members once this is available.
Plans are also being made to host another virtual Members Event in the very near future, which will allow you to get some insight from our players – as well as myself – on everything on and off field as we approach the end of this season. Details for the event will be communicated to you in the coming weeks, and I look forward to seeing many of you on the event.
As soon as it’s safe to do so, I look forward to you filling Scotstoun again and creating the special atmosphere we are all missing. It’s been a long and strange year, but if we stick to the current guidance then I’m hopeful that it won’t be too long before we’re cheering on our team in person once again.
Until then, stay safe, stay well, and thank you once again for your continued support of our club.

Whatever It Takes Banner
On behalf of all the players and staff at Glasgow Warriors, we’d like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed money from their 2019/20 Season and Match Tickets in support of the club during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Such generosity shows us the strength of the Warrior Nation community and why you are the best rugby fans in Europe.
To say thank you, we have now installed our fans’ ‘Whatever It Takes’ board (pictured) next to the entrance of the players tunnel. The name of supporters who generously donated to the club is inscribed on this board, past which our players will run out ahead of every 2020/21 match at Scotstoun.
Like each and every one of you, we can’t wait to play in front of a packed Scotstoun Stadium and be together again. In the meantime, we continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure rugby can keep being played and to make sure we are able to offer you the best and safest experience possible when you can finally return to the stadium.
Thank you for your ongoing support to the club.
Please note, supporters were asked to complete an online form to confirm their permission to display their name on the banner, as per GDPR guidelines. Unfortunately if you did not complete the form, your name will not be on the board.

Why am I not receiving emails?
The most common reason for members not receiving emails is due to them unsubscribing from our various mailing lists.
The mailing lists we use to communicate with supporters are:
1. Glasgow Warriors Operational Mailing List (These are not promotional emails and contain important information regarding your membership. You can unsubscribe from these emails BUT WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you do NOT unsubscribe, in case you miss important information regarding your membership and we are unable to contact you.)
2. Glasgow Warriors Emails (weekly news and updates from the club)
3. Ticket Alerts
4. Merchandise Alerts
5. Community Rugby Activities
6. Partner Offers
If you are not receiving any of these type of emails, please contact [email protected] so we can re-subscribe you.
Other reasons include, using the wrong email address linked to your account or your mailbox is full.
Make sure our emails reach your inbox by adding [email protected] to your address book
Why does my member card(s) not have the correct details listed?
Membership purchasers should ensure the membership holders details are up to date via their Scottish Rugby Online Ticket Centre account. If the details have not been updated, they will default to the name of the membership purchaser.
To ensure the member cards have the correct details for next season, please update the holders details in your account. For membership or ticketing enquiries, please contact [email protected]
Why have I been asked to update my account details?
Ticketing are requesting season ticket 'purchasers' with multiple memberships to assign the additional 'holders' to unique accounts.
There are currently a significant number of memberships with only the purchasers details listed (example below).
By updating the account information to the correct holder (example below), this will allow us to:
• Identify the number of households within each membership.
• Plan the allocation of seating for a socially distancing crowd at Scotstoun Stadium.
• Provide the correct data for membership cards of each holder (included in the welcome packs), so they are not all under the purchasers name.
• Communicate with each member regarding their benefits, pre-sale ticket access, invitation to events - online Q&As, for example.
Please note this does NOT apply to marketing emails. Supporters should sign up to newsletters here
If you are not receiving any emails from us, please visit the FAQs below for full information.
Please can you follow these steps to help with assigning the additional Season Tickets:
Step 1: Ensure the people you want to assign the other Season Tickets to are registered and have a Scottish Rugby ticketing account. If they are not registered you won’t be able to assign the Season Ticket to them, so please ask them to create an account by visiting our ticketing site.
Step 2: Once everyone you are assigning a Season Ticket to has created an account, email [email protected] with the client reference of yourself (271997) and those of the others to which you plan to assign a Season Ticket. NOTE: The client reference number can be found when you are logged into your account: simply click ‘My Account’ and the client reference number is shown in brackets beside your name, in the example below:
Step 3: Scottish Rugby will then confirm by email when they have been assigned (typically within 24 hours of updating the relevant account privileges).
It may also be an idea to add these people to ‘your network’ on your ticketing account, this enables you to purchase for them in future and assign the tickets to their individual ticketing accounts. To find out how to do this, please visit: My Network. For answers to more frequently asked questions please visit Ask Scottish Rugby.
