Exeter Chiefs 34 - 18 Glasgow Warriors

The Warriors capitalised on early pressure to score the opening try, Nick Grigg charging over after great approach work from Tommy Seymour.

Exeter responded with a penalty from Joe Simmonds and posted their opening try just before the half-hour mark when Jonny Hill showed his power from close range.

However the Warriors continued to threaten and edged ahead with two penalties from Adam Hastings.

Half-time Exeter Chiefs 10 – 13 Glasgow Warriors

Exeter started the second half by building phases and pressure into the Glasgow half. Jack Nowell broke through a couple of tackles and found England colleague Henry Slade with an inside ball for the try.

Exeter kept the pressure on and were rewarded as Sam Simmonds broke out from a driving maul to dive over.

Exeter continued trapping Glasgow deep in their own half. A clearance kick ended with Slade chipping over the defence for Tom O’Flaherty to scoop up and dive in at the corner for the bonus point.

On the 67th minute Warriors’ Kiran McDonald was yellow carded for an offence off the ball and Exeter knocked over a penalty. However, Glasgow responded with heavy pressure on Exeter’s line and Sam Simmonds was given a yellow as the home team repeatedly infringed.

Glasgow’s pressure told. Tommy Seymour was held short on the right but the ball was spun to the opposite flank for George Turner to stroll over for Glasgow’s second of the night.
