Record season ticket sales for the Warriors

Glasgow Warriors have once again sold a record number of season tickets for the upcoming campaign.Glasgow Warriors have more than 4,500 season ticket members for the 2017/18 season

The club have now sold out their allocation of season tickets, with more than 4,500 memberships snapped up for Dave Rennie’s first season in charge of the Scotstoun-based side.

Season ticket sales have increased every year since the club moved to Scotstoun Stadium in 2012 and there has been another increase this season.

Rennie’s first game in charge of the Warriors will be a pre-season fixture against Aviva Premiership side Northampton Saints at Bridgehaugh Park in Stirling on Saturday 19 August (kick-off 2pm).

Around 2,700 tickets for this game will go on sale to Season Ticket Members and Warrior Nation Members on a first come, first served basis online at from this Monday (17 July) at 10am until Thursday 20 July at 5pm. Any unsold tickets will go on general sale on Friday 21 July at 10am.

Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Nathan Bombrys, said: “We’d like to thank our supporters for once again getting behind the team in huge numbers and when we add in our sponsors, partners and business club we’ll have more than 5,000 members.

“There is a lot of excitement building ahead of the new campaign and our players are working really hard to get themselves fit and ready for action.

“The pre-season fixture against Northampton Saints will be the first opportunity to see a number of our new players in action for the first time and we’re looking forward to going back to Stirling for this fixture.”
