Clegg joins Ealing

Fly-half Rory Clegg has left Glasgow Warriors, joining Championship side Ealing for the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old has had two spells at Scotstoun, playing 16 times for the Warriors and scoring 95 points in the process.

His one try for Glasgow came earlier this season as he crossed for the dramatic winning score late on away to Treviso on New Year's Eve.

Ealing will become the fourth English side Clegg has played for after previous stints at Newcastle Falcons, Harlequins and Yorkshire Carnegie.

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said “Rory has had a positive impact during his time here, notably scoring important points in memorable games against Leinster and Treviso. He has been a pleasure to work with and we wish him all the best at Ealing.”
