Warrior Watch: Fifteen Warriors were in international action on Saturday

Fifteen Glasgow players represented their countries on a historic weekend of international rugby including two Man of the Match performances from Warriors players.

At BT Murrayfield Jonny Gray was one of eleven Warriors to feature and Glasgow’s co-captain led from the front putting in an eye catching performance as Scotland beat Argentina 19-16 with the last kick of the game.

Zander Fagerson and Fraser Brown started alongside Gray in the pack with Alex Allan, Tim Swinson and Ryan Wilson joining the forwards off the bench.

Finn Russell, Tommy Seymour, Alex Dunbar and Stuart Hogg were all also included in the starting XV with Pete Horne making an impact in the second half.

In Florence, Simone Favaro also walked away with the Man of the Match award for his part in Italy’s first ever win over South Africa.

New Italy head coach Conor O’Shea spoke after the 20-18 victory describing his players performance by saying: “They weren’t just brave, they were heroic.”

In Spain, two Warriors went head-to-head as Haupeakui's USA faced off against Puafisi's Tonga. Langilangi had an effective impact coming off the bench but It was Sila's Tonga who picked up the victory, the Pacific Islanders winning a tight contest 17-20.

Djustice Sears-Duru was also in action, the prop starting for Canada in their 21-16 defeat to Romania in Bucharest.
