Scotland internationals return for Glasgow

Scotland internationals Tommy Seymour, Alex Dunbar, Henry Pyrgos, Gordon Reid, Kevin Bryce, Tim Swinson, Chris Fusaro and Adam Ashe all return to the Warriors team to play London Scottish at Richmond Athletic Ground tomorrow (kick-off 3pm) - live on Pyrgos will captain the Warriors in London

Seymour, Pyrgos, Reid, Bryce and Swinson start their first game since touring with Scotland in the summer, while Dunbar returns from a hip injury, sustained in last season's PRO12 Final with Leinster.

Fusao returns to the starting XV after coming off the bench in last week's 24-23 defeat to Harlequins.
Ashe starts his first game for the Warriors at number 8, after making two previous appearances from the bench and winning his first cap for Scotland against South Africa in June.

Peter Murchie retains his place at full-back and Mark Bennett continues at outside centre, alongside Dunbar in midfield.

Seymour returns on the right wing, Lee Jones is on the opposite side and Duncan Weir continues at fly-half.

Henry Pyrgos starts at scrum-half and captains the side, after featuring for Scotland against Argentina and South Africa in the summer.

In the pack Reid lines up alongside Bryce and new signing Rossouw de Klerk in the front-row.

Swinson combines with Leone Nakarawa in the second-row, and in the back-row Chris Fusaro is at open-side and Tyrone Holmes starts on the blind-side, alongside Ashe.

The Warriors have plenty in reserve with 11 players named on the bench, including new summer signings Alex Allan, James Downey and Connor Braid, as well as Fijian pair Niko Matawalu and Jerry Yanuyanutawa.

After signing training contracts with the Warriors earlier this month, George Hunter and Will Bordill are also included among the replacements.
Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "This is a good opportunity for us to continue our pre-season preparations, ahead of the GUINNESS PRO12 opener against Leinster next Saturday at Scotstoun. It also enables more players to get some game time and to transfer their hard work from the training field into a full blown rugby match.

"Although we were pleased with many aspects of our performance against Harlequins there were a number of areas to improve. It's given us plenty to work on in training this week and tomorrow is an opportunity for us to build on the positive aspects of last week's performance.

"Henry (Pyrgos) gets the opportunity to captain the side and after performing well for Scotland in the summer we're looking forward to seeing him back in a Warriors shirt.

"London Scottish finished fifth in a very competitive English Championship so we are under no illusions that we will have to play well to deliver a winning performance."
