Zander Fagerson

Zander Fagerson joined the Scottish Rugby Elite Evelopment Programme in June 2014 and signed his first contract for the Warriors in March 2015.
He made his debut for Glasgow in a 43-20 victory over Treviso in Italy in 2014, coming off the bench to make a debut to remember as Glasgow were down to 13 men and held on for victory.

Since then he has pushed on and been ever present in the match day 23-man squad for Glasgow. He was invited to train with the Scotland squad at the 2015 six nations by Vern Cotter. During the 2015 under-20 Six Nations championship Zander scored a winning try against Wales and was man of the match in a 45-0 victory over Italy.
In January 2016 the prop was called up for the first time to the Scotland squad ahead of the RBS Six Nations.
He is a product of the High School of Dundee, and represented the school at under-16, where he helped the school to win the Brewin Dolphin Plate before moving to Strathallan.

His impressive rugby credentials were further enhanced by selection for Caledonia at under-16 and under-18, while the powerful prop has also represented his country at the same age groups.

He was part of the sides that played Ireland and England in early 2013, starting at tight-head in both matches, and has represented Glasgow Hawks in RBS Premiership during the 2013/14 season.

Outside of rugby, Fagerson won the 2010 Scottish Downhill Mountain Bike Championship (2010).
