Adam Nicol signed his first professional contract with the Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2018/19 season.
A product of the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy, Nicol initially caught the eye with a series of impressive performances for Stirling County in the Tennant's Premiership, before being invited to train with the Warriors. He helped the club to a first-ever national cup final appearance in April 2018, playing in the BT Cup final defeat to Melrose at BT Murrayfield.
The former Fife front-rower made his debut for the club against the Ospreys in November 2016, coming off the bench for D’arcy Rae.
Nicol won his first cap for Scotland under-20s in the 24-6 victory over England in the 2016 Six Nations, going on to be named in the squad for the 2017 World Rugby Under-20s Championship.
