On her latest visit back to her hometown of Glasgow, television presenter Lorraine Kelly was presented with an honourary Glasgow Warriors season ticket by the club's captain Alastair Kellock.

Kellock met Lorraine, who was born in Scotland's biggest city, at the recent Sky Ride cycling event and duly awarded the presenter with her new season ticket before welcoming her to the Firhill faithful.

Lorraine said: "Watching Glasgow Warriors on a Friday night at Firhill is such a fantastic, fun, family night out so I'm delighted to get my season ticket for the forthcoming games. I wish Al and the boys the best of luck for the season."

Lorraine has not only got her hands on one of the best value season tickets in Scotland, but she has also been given what is the Warriors' most popular season ticket to date.

The Warriors recently surpassed 1,000 season ticket holders signalling a 21% increase on uptake when compared with this stage of the season last year.

On meeting a fellow Glaswegian personality, 6ft 8in captain Kellock added: "It was great to be able to meet Lorraine and give her a Glasgow Warriors season ticket. I hope to see her at a game soon.

"An increasing number of people are signing-up to watch us; the support we get from Warriors fans is incredible and I'm absolutely delighted that our crowds continue to grow season after season."
