Argentine international centre Federico Aramburu, who scored a try in the 2007 Rugby World Cup semi-finals, signed for Glasgow Warriors in summer 2010 and enjoyed an impressive debut season in the blue and black, endearing himself to supporters with his appetite for work and intuitive playing style. Described by head coach Sean Lineen as being "cut from the same cloth" as Firhill favourite Bernardo Stortoni, Aramburu joined the Warriors from Dax in France where he also had spells with Perpignan and Biarritz. Federico made his international debut against Chile in 2004. He has since won 14 caps scoring seven tries including one against Georgia in the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. Honours: Argentina |
