Glasgow Warriors today announce that one of the city's biggest private sector employers, RESPONSE, will continue to be its main sponsor for a further two years on improved terms.Image

In a proactive partnership between the Warriors and customer contact outsourcer, RESPONSE, both parties have seen significant benefit and look forward to a bright future together.

Glasgow Warriors chief executive, Kenny Baillie, said the deal could help both organisations "attain our respective goals".

"We are naturally delighted to have signed a new deal with RESPONSE," Baillie said, "and to continue to have their logo on the front of the famous Glasgow jersey from the start of the 2010/11 season."

"This commercial partnership underpins the aspiration of two of Glasgow's most well known names to continue to work together over the next two years.

"Sponsorship of Glasgow Warriors is a wise commercial investment that not only generates significant media value for RESPONSE but also enables them to connect to customers at a local, national and international level.

"Glasgow Warriors reached the inaugural Magners League play-offs last season and our aim is to make the quarter final of the Heineken Cup next season. We believe that this collaboration will help both organisations achieve our respective goals in the local, national and international marketplace."

RESPONSE Managing Director, Brian Bannatyne, added: "The Warriors have had a fantastic season this year and we have been proud to be associated with them. The third place finish in the Magners league is a truly outstanding result.

"RESPONSE is one of the biggest private sector employers in Glasgow and as such it was the perfect fit for us to sponsor the biggest rugby team in the city."

In their debut season with the Warriors, RESPONSE has enjoyed many benefits including significant media exposure through Glasgow's Heineken Cup and Magners League televised games in addition to the regular STV Rugby show which is aired on STV every Magners League weekend.

Live coverage of Glasgow Warriors' Magners League games will also be available throughout the 2010/11 season, and for the next four years, on BBC ALBA.

The Warriors experienced their best domestic season to date by finishing third in the Magners League and competing in the inaugural Magners League Play-Offs.

RESPONSE, a leading business process outsourcer, provides a wide range of customer contact management services on behalf of major blue chip brands.

Glasgow Warriors are offering families and young fans some outstanding offers on season tickets this year.

The 2010/11 campaign sees the introduction of a new 'Band of Warriors' season ticket for families where an adult and child can experience all the twists and turns of a season for just £190.

Also, with the inclusion of two Italian teams into the Magners League next season, the Warriors' £30 season ticket for Under 18s means that our younger fans can experience all the Firhill thrills for only £2.14 per game!

In addition, there are over £100 of further benefits including free entry into the away 1872 Cup derby match against Edinburgh at Murrayfield, two further Edinburgh home games, plus free entry for you and two friends to the Warriors' home pre-season friendly.
