Glasgow Warriors captain, Alastair Kellock, today paid tribute to the fantastic crowds at Firhill this season and stressed the importance of a vocal support this Friday night as the Warriors face league leaders and European champions Leinster in their last home game of the regular 2009/10 campaign. In an exclusive audio interview with www.glasgowwarriors.org, Kellock reflected on last Friday’s crucial win over Ulster as his side looks to achieve a hat-trick of victories at Firhill this month. The leader of the Scotland forward pack also encourages fans to snap up their Season Tickets for next year as he hopes increased crowds will continue to breed continued success. The 2010/11 Glasgow Warriors season ticket has more benefits than ever before as two Italian teams enter the Magners League for the first time. The Warriors will also compete on the European stage in the Heineken Cup. Under 18 season tickets have been frozen at £30, despite the increase in matches, which works out at just £2.14 per game. Season tickets for students and senior citizens are priced at £90 with adults priced at £170 - a saving of £110 on match-day ticket prices. The new season also sees the introduction of a new 'Band of Warriors' season tickets for families. An adult and child can experience all the twists and turns of a season for £190. In addition, there are over £100 of further benefits including free entry into the away 1872 Cup derby match against Edinburgh at Murrayfield, two further Edinburgh home games, plus free entry for you and two friends to the Warriors' home pre-season friendly (opposition tbc). Moreover, should existing season ticket holders refer their friends before 30 June, they will receive an invitation to the Warriors' hospitality lounge for the pre-season friendly.
