Glasgow Warriors stand-off, Dan Parks, today spoke exclusively to www.glasgowwarriors.org ahead of Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match against England at Murrayfield (13 March, kick-off 5pm). The Calcutta Cup clash, which will also see him win his 50th cap for his country, has been a fruitful encounter for Parks in the past as his accuracy with the boot, both from hand and the tee, has landed the Scots historic victories in the two previous occasions at Murrayfield. In the interview, Parks pays tribute to the Glasgow coaching staff for his return to the national side enabling him to reach such a landmark appearance for Scotland. Parks is one of eight Glasgow players in the side with Chris Cusiter captaining the team from scrum-half. Elsewhere in the backs, Graeme Morrison is named at centre with Max Evans on the wing. In the pack, Warriors skipper Al Kellock is named alongside the Killer B's of Kelly Brown, John Barclay and Johnnie Beattie. Scotland: Southwell; S Lamont, De Luca, Morrison, M Evans; Parks, Cusiter; Jacobsen, Ford, E Murray, J Hamilton, Kellock, Brown, Beattie, Barclay. Replacements: S Lawson, G Cross, N Hines, A MacDonald, R Lawson, Godman, Danielli. |
