Glasgow Warriors kept their play-off dream alive with a tough draw away to Connacht in Galway this evening. Despite leading for the majority of the match, the Warriors found themselves 19-14 down going into injury time. But James Eddie emerged as Glasgow's hero as he touched down in the last play of the game to level the score and ensure the Warriors’ quest to reach the inaugural Magners League play-offs remained undiminished. Leading 14-3 thanks to three first half Ruaridh Jackson penalties and a try from Canadian international winger DTH van der Merwe, Glasgow looked set to secure a valuable win and return to the top of the Magners League table. But Connacht fought back with Ian Keatley kicking two penalties and converting a try from Gavin Duffy. Keatley's fourth penalty, three minutes from time, looked to be the winning score but Eddie crossed in the dying minutes. Replacement Colin Gregor had the chance to seal the victory but his conversion attempt sailed wide.
