TICKET INFORMATION Q: Can I buy tickets on the day? A: Yes, however we would encourage supporters to purchase tickets prior to the game. You will be able to pick up your pre-bought ticket(s) at the times stated in the ‘handy time guide’ above. We would encourage you to come and collect tickets early as we will be extremely busy in the two hours prior to the match.
Q: Since buying my ticket, my mobility has been affected. Who can I ask for assistance and what happens if I’m physically unable to get to the area I have a ticket for? A: We would advise that you contact our Ticket Office in advance if there has been any change in your circumstances however, if this is not possible, please contact your nearest steward on the day. We have a dedicated team within the stadium that will look after spectators with such difficulties.
PARKING Q: Can I park at the stadium? A: Murrayfield - Due to work on the Edinburgh tram initiative and the Water of Leith flood prevention scheme, there will be no car parking at Murrayfield Stadium on 2 January.
Firhill - There is no public parking available at Firhill.
Q: Where can I park near the stadium? A: The Police have confirmed the following information regarding parking for the 27th December and 2nd January. In order to maintain emergency access to the stadiums, there are restrictions in place on the following roads;
MURRAYFIELD o Roseburn street (Northside) from Westfield Road to eastmost point of the stadium boundary on Roseburn Street. o Riversdale Crescent, both sides from Corstorphine Rd to 25m west of Riversdale Bridge. o Saughtonhall Avenue, Northside from Saughtonhall Drive to Saughtonhall Bridge. o In addition, spectators should be aware that from 6.30pm people can park their cars on the greenway, other than where there are double red lines.
FIRHILL o There is no parking on Firhill Road. Police will tow cars away. Parking can be found in the neighbouring side streets.
Please be aware other restrictions will be in place, therefore, please park with consideration as parking attendants will be working. Q: What about coaches / minibuses? A: Murrayfield - There will be limited coach and minibus parking within Saughtonhall Car Park. Please contact

Firhill - Coaches can park on Murano Street to the North of the stadium.
Q: I am disabled – can I park at the stadium? A: Murrayfield - Yes. Disabled spectators will be accommodated within our disabled car park which is situated behind the West. Access is via Saughtonhall Avenue and thereafter as directed by stewards. Disabled spectators arriving in cars will be accommodated as far as is reasonably practical and should arrive as above clearly displaying their blue badge. Firhill - There is no disabled parking at Firhill. Contact the ticket office if you need further arrangements.
ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS & SEATING Q: How do I get into the stadium? A: Murrayfield - At Murrayfield Turnstiles will be open at the North side of the stadium on Roseburn Street and at Roseburn Crescent. Firhill - At Firhill the Jackie Husband and Main Stand will be open, please use the appropriate turnstiles.
Q: I have difficulty using a turnstile. A: Please contact a steward at the turnstile area who will happily assist with access through the nearest gate.
Q: Where do we sit at Murrayfield and at Firhill – are the seats reserved? A: Murrayfield - Seats will be reserved for Edinburgh Season Ticket Holders in West 15, 17, 19 and 21 as normal. Glasgow Warriors Supporters (Season Ticket Holders who have redeemed their voucher or bought in advance) will sit in the Lower East 7, 9, 11. Purchases made on the day will be seated in the Upper East stand. Firhill - At Firhill, Glasgow Season Ticket Holders will sit in the Jackie Husband Stand as normal. Tickets can be bought for the Main Stand on match day with the possibility of the North Stand being opened if numbers allow. Supporters are advised to read their match ticket for information. The Jackie Husband Stand can be accessed via the turnstiles located behind the Jackie Husband Stand. Access to the Main Stand and North Stand is via the turnstiles located on Firhill Road. Please ensure you enter via the appropriate turnstile as there is a North / South divide in the stand.
Q: What do I do if there’s a problem with my seating area? A: Please contact your section steward who will be able to assist you or contact someone who can help.
STADIUM FACILITIES Q: Can I bring a camera? A: Yes, pocked sized cameras are permitted however large professional cameras are not.
Q: Can I bring an air horn? A: Yes, however only mechanised air horns (blow through / wind up) are allowed - pressurised containers are not permitted.
Q: Can I bring rucksacks or suitcases? A: Small backpacks are permitted however suitcases or larger items will be denied access. We assume no responsibility for baggage within the stadium. Rucksacks or similar will be subject to a search before entry.
Q: I want to bring along my one-year-old child? A: No problem, however we would remind you that this a rugby match with a large crowd, music etc which may not be suitable for a child so young.
Q: Does my one-year-old child need a match ticket? A: Children aged under five are admitted free of charge provided they sit on the parent’s / guardian’s knee.
Q: Can I bring a buggy into the stadium? A: No. There is no facility for buggies and there is no facility for buggy drop-off and collection.
Q: Is there a baby changing facility available? A: Yes – in the lower West Stand.
Q: Can I bring juice into the stadium? A: Murrayfield - cans cannot be brought into the stadium as part of the stadium ground rules. However, a relaxation has been given to plastic bottles of soft drinks and water of up to 500ml. Please note: the lid must be sealed and intact. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the stadium. Firhill - No containers are permitted into the ground at Firhill.
Q: Can I bring food into the stadium? A: There are catering outlets throughout the stadium and therefore there should be no requirement.
Q: What happens if I have special dietary requirements, though? A: We will not stop anyone bringing food or drink into the stadium under these circumstances, providing that any soft drinks / water are in SEALED plastic bottles no larger than 500ml.
Q: Can you purchase alcohol in the stadium? A: Yes. Murrayfield and Firhill will be licensed for both matches, with bars and food outlets opening at the same time as our turnstiles. Murrayfield - The Rowan Suite in the North Stand will be open to everyone Firhill – The Supporters Bar in the main stand will be open to everyone.
Q: Can I take my drink to my seat? A: Yes.
Q: Will I be able to smoke in stadium? A: No. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the stadium.
Q: Will there be a pass in / pass out section? A: No.

Q: If I feel unwell during the match, can I get help? A: Yes, we have a full medical team on duty for your safety and wellbeing, including first aid, paramedics and doctors at both stadiums. Please contact your nearest steward, in the first instance. Murrayfield - The First Aid room is located at ground level in the South West corner of the stadium. Firhill - There is a First Aid ambulance at the north end of the Jackie Husband Stand.
Q: Is there somewhere we can go to get players’ autographs after the match? A: Murrayfield - Players will exit their changing rooms by the Media entrance next to the players’ tunnel, in the centre of the West concourse and may sign autographs. Firhill - The players may be at foyer of the supporters bar at the north end of the Main Stand after the match and may sign autographs.
TRANSPORT Q: Can you tell me about public transport to Murrayfield? A: There will be limited public transport in Scotland. Supporters should check before travelling with their local service providers or click on the following links: www.edinburgh.gov.uk/transportedinburgh/Buses, www.lothianbuses.com and www.citylink.co.uk Q: Can you tell me about getting to Firhill? A: By Car: From The West: Leave the M8 at Junction 17 and follow the A81, Maryhill Road towards Maryhill. Turn right into Firhill Road for the ground.
From The East: Leave the M8 at Junction 16 and follow the A81, Maryhill Road towards Maryhill. Turn right into Firhill Road for the ground.
By Train / Underground: Maryhill Station is the closest train station to the ground, but it is still a fair walk away (20-25 minutes). It is served by trains from Glasgow Queen Street, but it may be best instead to use the Underground.
By Underground: St. Georges Cross: Head North up Maryhill Road until you see the stadium (on Firhill road just off Maryhill road). It should take around 10-15 minutes to walk.
Kelvinbridge: Go up the stairs/escalators to Great Western Road, cross Great Western Road and turn to your right. Walk only a few metres until you come to North Woodside Road on your left. Walk down that road until you come to Maryhill Road. Turn left along Maryhill Road to get to the ground.
