VIDEO: WELSH CAN’T WAIT FOR 1872 CUP DERBY PDF Print
Monday, 14 December 2009

Following on from Glasgow’s 33-11 Heineken Cup win over Gloucester on Friday night, Jon Welsh speaks exclusively to glasgowwarriors.org and says he simply can’t wait for the Warriors’ next home game – the first leg of the 1872 Cup derby at Firhill on Sunday 27 December (kick-off 3.05pm, live on STV).

Welsh, who won his first Scotland A cap against Tonga in November, also reflects on his international bow and what it meant for him to sing the national anthem and represent his country.

Tickets for the eagerly anticipated 1872 Cup derby against Edinburgh on Sunday 27 December (kick-off 3.05pm) - priced at £15 for adults in advance (£20 on match day), £10 for students and senior citizens and just £5 for under 18s – can be purchased now by calling the Ticket Hotline on 0844 800 3490, by CLICKING HERE or by visiting Greaves Sports (located on Gordon Street and Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow’s city centre).
