New video content featuring Glasgow Warriors flanker Richie Vernon is now available on the Warriors’ official website www.glasgowwarriors.org.

Fresh from his international debut during the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests, Vernon looks ahead to Friday night’s Heineken Cup showdown at Firhill (11 December, kick-off 7:30pm) where he is likely to pack down against his Scotland team-mate, Gloucester’s Alasdair Strokosch.

Also on this week’s bulletin, , which is exclusive to www.glasgowwarriors.org, he looks ahead to the eagerly anticipated 1872 Cup derby clashes with Edinburgh over the Christmas and New Year period.

The first 1872 Cup derby match is at Firhill on Friday 27 December before the return leg at Murrayfield on Saturday 2 January. Both games are scheduled to kick-off at 3.05pm.

The interview was filmed at Greaves Sports as Vernon and his team-mates launched a new initiative which sees tickets for Warriors home games go on sale via Scottish Rugby’s official retail partner.

The new initiative enables Warriors fans to buy their AnyGame vouchers and 1872 Cup derby tickets – priced at £15 for adults, £10 for students and senior citizens with tickets for under 18s just £5 - in Glasgow’s city centre.

Both pre-purchase briefs mean that adult supporters can save money by buying in advance (adult tickets are £20 on match-days).
