Glasgow Warriors’ uncapped prop, Jon Welsh, is one of six players who were today added to the 33-man squad who attended the Scotland St Andrews training camp earlier this month for training at Murrayfield today and tomorrow. Scotland and Scotland ‘A’ will be training together over the coming days in preparation for the international matches this weekend. Scotland face Australia in the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Test at Murrayfield on Saturday (kick-off 5.15pm), while on the previous evening (Friday 20 November) Scotland A meet Tonga at Netherdale in Galashiels (kick-off 7.30pm). Meanwhile, Scotland team doctor James Robson confirmed that Johnnie Beattie would miss today’s training due to a groin strain sustained during the win over Fiji last Saturday although the injury is not giving concern at this stage. Tickets are on sale now for Saturday’s match against Australia. They cost from £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and students and can be bought online at www.scottishrugby.org; via the 24-hour credit card hotline 0844 335 3933 or in person from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh between 9am and 8pm, Monday-Friday. Please note a booking fee applies to all transactions and that no tickets are sold on match day. You can also buy tickets from your local rugby club, who will receive commission from your purchase. Log on to www.scottishrugby.org to find your nearest club. Admission to the Scotland A game against Tonga at Netherdale on Friday is FREE. |
