CARDIFF BECKONS FOR CUSITER PDF Print

Chris Cusiter, Glasgow Warriors redoubtable scrum-half, is set to return for the Magners League trip to Cardiff this weekend.

Cusiter, who was one of the Warriors players affected by a virus last week, had to retire at half-time in last Friday's loss to the Ospreys at Firhill, coach Sean Lineen reporting that he was "out on his feet" at the interval.

Cusiter told this website: "I'm feeling ok.  I've done a double weights and rugby session and I'm keen to get back"

The 44-times-capped Cusiter was pleased with Warriors' first-half display against the Ospreys but disappointed by the 20 unanswered second-half points to the opposition.

"We were second best in the contact area and put ourselves under a lot of pressure because of that.  We conceded two tries, one was pretty soft, and that allowed them to get back into the game," he added.

Warriors will announce their squad tomorrow for Saturday's match at the new Cardiff City stadium (kick-off 6.30pm).
