Pat MacArthur is a hooker who has played for the Ayr and West of Scotland club first XVs, as well as Scotland under-18, under-19 and under-20. After enjoying a productive pre-season ahead of 2011/12, he was named in the starting line-up for the RaboDirect PRO12 opener against Ulster at Ravenhill.

He was hooker in the starting XV for Scotland’s under-20 internationals against England and Wales in February 2007. He has also played at under-18 level for Glasgow and Scotland. A former pupil of Prestwick Academy, Pat signed a Glasgow Warriors contract in June 2009.
