Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen has confirmed his side to face Connacht in the final game of the 2008/09 Magners League season at Firhill tomorrow night (Friday 15 May (kick-off 7:45pm).

“For us this is the biggest game of the season,” said Lineen, “and it’s important we finish this season with a win in front of a home crowd.

“Looking to the future, I’m really excited by the young players coming through and the attitude and enthusiasm they’ve brought to the team.”

With Max Evans ruled out in the centre, versatile back Hefin O’Hare steps up to the plate.

Meanwhile, Evans’ younger brother Thom has pulled out having suffered a minor calf tweak during training. Thom is replaced by fellow Scotland 7s internationalist Colin Shaw.

Colin Gregor is promoted to the starting scrum-half berth whilst in the pack, prop Kevin Tkachuk is preferred to Jon Welsh and young lock Richie Gray is handed his first start on home soil.

In the back-row, James Eddie returns in place of Opeta Palepoi at blindside flanker and Kelly Brown switches with Calum Forrester to line-up at openside and No.8 respectively.
