Uncapped Glasgow Warriors prop Ed Kalman will travel with the Scotland squad to Paris today ahead of Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations Championship match with France. On the prospect of facing the French, Scotland captain Mike Blair, said: “This week, our contact has to improve. “With the Evans brothers coming in – they’re excellent players – I’m confident in what they can do. They play with a freedom that’s great to see at international level. “With the team and squad we’ve got, if we get some ball, we’ll be a formidable side.” • In their third RBS 6 Nations fixture, Scotland host Italy at Murrayfield on Saturday 28 February (kick-off 3pm).
