More than 19,000 fans watched the derby matches between Edinburgh Rugby Club and Glasgow Warriors during the festive period.

Record home Magners League crowds were attracted to Murrayfield and Firhill for the matches in the David Lloyd 1872 Cup and now you can see highlights from both games.

The first match, played at Murrayfield, on Boxing Day, saw Edinburgh post a thumping 39-6 win; a week later at Firhill, the Warriors held sway with a 25-20 margin in their favour. The aggregate over both legs thus resulted in Edinburgh winning the David Lloyd 1872 Cup for the first time.
