Stevie Swindal, in action here for the Scotland 'A' team, will line up for the Glasgow back-up team against Edinburgh on Thursday afternoon

Glasgow Warriors' summer signing Jose Maria Nunez Piossek will make his first appearance in a Glasgow jersey at Thursday's back-up fixture against Edinburgh at Lasswade (kick-off 2pm).

Both squads are littered with Magners League experience and with the previous back-up game being won convincingly by Glasgow at their training base at Whitecraigs (34-14) the return fixture is gearing up to be yet another fantastic derby encounter.

Scotland 7s regulars Jim Thomson and Stevie Lawrie make the starting line-up for Edinburgh at full-back and hooker while Scotland ‘A’ internationalist Matt Dey will take to the field at outside centre.

Entry to the back-up game is free.
