SIX CHANGES AS WARRIORS AIM TOU-WIN PDF Print
Wednesday, 15 October 2008

ImageGlasgow Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, has made six changes to the side that lost to Newport Gwent Dragons last weekend for Friday night’s visit of three-times Heineken Cup champions Toulouse to Firhill.

Stand-off Dan Parks and winger Thom Evans have recovered from injury in time for the Warriors’ biggest game of the season so far.

In the pack, props Kevin Tkachuk and Ed Kalman are promoted from last weekend’s bench whilst Dan Turner is given the nod in the second-row and Richie Vernon makes his first competitive start of the season in the back-row.

Impressed with the application of his players this week, Lineen said: “I’ve been really impressed with the players’ attitude this week. They let themselves down last weekend and they’re doing everything they can to rectify that result.

“We’ve only had two home games so far this season and the last against the Scarlets was probably the best I’ve seen since I became involved with Glasgow. The players need to rediscover that form this week and show their class.”
