![]() Ruaridh Jackson captained the back-up team to victory Glasgow stand-off Ruaridh Jackson opened the scoring with an early penalty, but it was Edinburgh scrum-half Ben Meyer who crossed the line first. The youngest of Edinburgh’s Blair brothers, Alex, converted. However, Glasgow struck back immediately and Tom Bury showed great anticipation to cut a nice inside angle and collect a pop pass from fellow winger Chris Kinloch on the deck. Jackson converted. The Warriors stretched their lead right on half-time when Alex Dunbar crossed to give the home side a eight point lead at the break. The Warriors started the second half as they had finished the first by collecting another score (Jackson converted) before Edinburgh’s ‘A’ team international centre, Calum MacRae, scored the capital sides second try. However, two more tries from the Warriors sealed the convincing victory. Jackson slotted his fourth and final penalty.
