The Glasgow Warriors back-up team posted another win over their Edinburgh counterparts today as they ran out 19-10 victors at a wet and muddy Lasswade.

Tries from Hefin O‘Hare, Lome Fa’atau and Richie Vernon saw the Warriors continue their unbeaten form this season.

Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, told glasgowwarriors.org : “The boys stuck in well in what were not great conditions.

”Dougie Hall and Mike Collins both came through the game and OP [Opeta Palepoi] had a solid 80 minutes.

“Richie Vernon and Justin Va’a were the two outstanding players though with Colin Gregor controlling the game effectively and Peter Jericevic showing real promise.

“Max Evans also stood out with a big defensive effort and Scott Barrow orchestrated the game well in midfield.”
