Everyone at Glasgow Warriors would like to thank Birkmyre Rugby Club for attending the Ospreys match on Friday 29th February. The club took over fifty children and parents to the game and all had a great time, despite the weather! We hope to see you at the Arena again soon.

Birkmyre RFC play in the Scottish Hydro Electric West League Division Two and play at Birkmyre Park, Kilmacolm.

2008 is an exciting year for the club as their new pavillion and gym will open, giving the club some of the best facilities in the West of Scotland. The past visitors who voted the previous facilities as the worst in Scottish rugby are all welcome to come along and marvel at the electric lighting and hot water!

Training takes place at Birkmyre Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm, with Tuesday sessions focused on skills and teamwork, whilst Thursday sessions have a fitness focus. The club also have an active minis section and any children aged five and above are welcome to come along between 1pm and 2.30pm on a Sunday. Training is managed by SRU qualified coaches who are comttied to providing an enjoyable, interesting and safe experience for all children.
