![]() Andy Newman and Al Kellock with Natalie at the launch The Glasgow Warriors have appointed Natalie Duncan as their new Community Marketing Officer, and on the back of that announcement, she joined Warriors captain Alastair Kellock and his second-row colleague, Andy Newman, this afternoon to launch the ‘Champion Warriors’ scheme. The scheme is open to all rugby clubs and aims to develop a way for the Warriors to reciprocate the support they get from local rugby clubs. Speaking at the launch, Natalie said: “The Champion Warriors scheme is a great way for the Glasgow Warriors to recognise the local clubs that really get behind their pro-team.” Clubs are invited to join the scheme, which is free of charge, and appoint a ‘Club Ambassador’ who will become the direct link between their club and their pro-team. The communication through the Club Ambassador will see clubs receive a range of benefits which are only available to Champion Warriors participants. Benefits of the scheme include: As a gesture of thanks, Club Ambassadors will be invited as a guest of the Warriors to enjoy hospitality at The Arena. On her appointment, Duncan added: “The Warriors have implemented and supported a variety of initiatives over the years, but this is an exciting opportunity for me to help the Warriors realise their potential within the community.” Natalie spent five years with Aberdeen FC as a Customer Service Officer before graduating this year from Strathclyde University with a BA in Economics and Marketing.
